September 2009 Third Planet Communications, was recently honored with nine American Graphic Design Awards by Graphic Design USA and, subsequently, was also identified as being in the top five most recognized companies internationally for 2009. The American Graphic Design Awards represents the very best in design submitted by agencies, design firms, corporations, institutions, etc. across the country, and only the top 15% from over 8,000 entries are recognized. Winning entries included several Sewickley Academy projects, as well as identity development and marketing materials for STEVENS, Simple Green Cabinets, Lizzie Morgan, LG Realty Advisors, Third Planet Communications, and an ad campaign for Goldstock Jewelers. May 2009 TPC is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Bronder – recent graduate of La Roche College, School of Graphic and Communication Design. As Designer and Planetary Representative for Third Planet, Tim will spend his time teleporting between duties in the communications tower and the engine room of the mother ship. March 2009 Third Planet Communications, has been recognized with 13 American Graphic Design and Advertising Awards, and as a result, was ranked as third in the nation for this prestigious competition showcasing the very best graphic design & print advertising in the United States. Honors included work in multiple categories: Logos and Trademarks, Stationery, Advertising Campaign, Brochures and Catalogs, and the Complete Branding System Divisions.
